April's Coastal Creations
Photography and beyond...........
My specialty-
This collage is using a photo from their photographer's drone as the background. I added Italy on there for their destination wedding and photos I took of the couple. A fairtale setting!

Collage work is one of my favorite things to do. Being creative, letting the mind wonder, juices flow.....you get the idea! Even when I'm in the middle of shoot a photo, I 'll even get a vision of a collage to be created.
COLLAGES
So many different kinds!
Storytelling- putting a progression of photos together.
Simple - adding one photo onto another
Elaborate - using detailed backgrounds, adding a number of photos and word art for impact.

This photo is 2 seperate photos. The bride and groom kissing cut out and added to a sunset photo. Word art and artist touches add for a dramatic look.
This photo is comprised of 3 photos. each image was cut out and then stacked.
This is a simple image faded out and word art added
This collage is a photo of the rings taken as is. I then added two images into it.
Simple background with two different images in a oval fogged frame added in.
This collage is more complex and storytelling. A photo with images of different aspects of the ceremony added on. That image is then accented by the brides flowers, the wedding info from their announcement and their names
Every bride feels like her wedding is a fairytale. This collage I used a background of the brides dress showing detail. Then cut out the bride showing the rear view showing the back of her dress. Added a frame and a front view as though she was looking into a mirror. Word art added.

Artist touches can be anthing from adding light flares, to removing color, adding contrast, blurring etc.

Having fun with collages- the bride and groom sitting on their cake.

The wedding rings is a must to make a collage.
Here are a couple of bridesmaids collages - totally different yet covers all the girls in the wedding party.
This collage is all about capturing a beautiful moment when the groom began to sing to his new bride this song- You are so beautiful
I combined the photo when he was singing and added to the lyrics for a personal touch and preserving that moment in time.

This collage is to look like their very own love story book. Their photo combined with wedding date and some word art. the one below was use on the cover of their own album book.

This couple below just had a dramatic feel to their love. When I saw this shot afterwards, I just wanted it to feel like the front of a romance novel.
Wedding colors can be incorporated in the collages just as I did here.
